  • Well, I learned not much on the Roman world I loves so much (apart from the buildings, exhibits little) but the whole is well done, is consistent and gives a good idea of a villa at the borders of the empire: near the great German forest, visited under a mixed time.. far away from the Italian climate ;-) ha Yes, I enjoyed the integration of excavations in the area (with also of experimental Archaeology (different metals ovens).) Friendly staff and trilingual presence of many markets trails nearby

  • For fans of Roman history and culture, the Villa Borg is an El Dorado. Here original faithfully reconstructed a Roman mansion on historic site. There is a Manor House with residential and commercial buildings. The patio area is decorated in a beautiful garden and fountain. The reconstructed kitchens and dier or bathrooms and living spaces with furniture are very interesting. The baths can be used even on special occasions to bathe. Findings of the excavations are exhibited in a tour. Ice visit the Roman tavern is absolutely recommended.

  • Beautiful reconstruction of how it must have been 2000 years ago. Not too expensive with a family ticket for eur-10.0. Fairly remote and by the size if you are not continuous people, but it was there at the time that we were there not pressure. Great for kids, because there is also a room with clothes so you can your family to conjure in a Roman family. Also large herb garden and possibility to organise meetings.

  • Very nice reconstruction. Young kids can have fun on the site. The only downside: in the restaurant, the cake came far too late.
