  • With the lower lock connected curious story. The famous painter Wagner, the same who painted everything in town hall, bought the Castle and began to live there. He arranged there different medieval feasts, which invited many guests. And here the city of Passau conceived to build across the Danube right to lock the same suspension bridge, which we see now Wagner requested to build a bridge in the historic style to bridge not spoil the view of the castle with its modern design. But the city of Wagner has not heeded and built what he built. Wagner razobidelsâ, not only sold his friend, too, by the way, the artist, the lower Castle, but generally left him from his native city of Passau. Yes so much left that up to the end of life fundamentally never in Passau is not stopped. Out of sight-out of mind!.
