Dating from the 14th century, Stadt Passau, Altes Rathaus is one of Passau's most impressive and historic sites--and home to Bavaria's largest glockenspiel clock. Set on the town square, the ornate and intricate Neo-Gothic architecture is a sight to behold. Paintings depicting local legends and semi-historical scenes lavishly decorated the interior walls. Keep an eye out for marks on the side of the building, which depict the heights and dates of the various floods that have inundated the town throughout its history.
