  • The large nave is subdivided by bays, the deviation of the choir (with late-Gothic remains) goes back to separate planning from nave and choir in the 10th century. Baroque as Counter Reformation splendor over barren Protestant embodiments. Impressive!

  • Of particular interest is the Cathedral of St. Stephan in Passau. Great paintings and pieces. Superior organ. From the old city/pedestrian zone just a few steps away.

  • The Church as a whole, as well as the frescoes and organ in particular are really worth seeing. If you are lucky and hear the organ is the space of sound and you even realize how "small" is one.
