For tourists in the vicinity a unforgettable Erlebnies, particularly for tech-savvy. We could see even a finished boat that stood in front of the Hall. We liked the organization of the tour. You are picked up in the city by the Rathaus/parking lot by a bus and taken to the shipyard. Along the way you are given a bit of the city's history. When you get there you are taken to see a few short films about the history of the company. Then the guide takes you to each station. We had a lady named Ruth and she was very knowledgeable and kind. At the end you of course land in the gift shop before you are taken back to the parking lot. We can't wait to get on a cruise ship! Ahoy!
Great site and pictures.
Wolf-Dieter HaenelSo my wife and I have visited the Meyer-Werft. There is something for everyone (even for women, keyword cabins). Revealing the development of this shipyard. Even as the men and women of this shipyard shall ensure to deliver good quality. With regard to the visit, we find good, that there is a "theoretical" information in the form of films. Also the "views" on the Hall is well chosen. Thus, you can see a lot without danger of the production. The "Assembly-line" processes of the construction of some geschmäht(!) is contemporary and proven in car construction for decades - why not also for ships. Because I myself was a ship Builder a good investment the big halls, so that you can independently work weather and hence the quality of the work keeps high! The social character of me liked, that getting some employees there will be come to the maiden voyage. Great set up. Wolf D. Halima at the 09 Juni2016show original
Dieter WischmeyerSuper interesting and worth seeing the leadership is also great for those who like ships is right hereshow original
Sven ErbeInformative and interesting, but pure assembly line clearance and on individual issues, there could be no exhaustive answers... only the forgefertigte instilled knowledge. An audio guide is also not worse... but you would have more time for the watch and read. Social enterprise is absent when Meyer, many subcontractors only €8.50show original
