  • I love the Oybin, I really like it. Overall, it is a small town a picturesque and walk on the Oybin is nice. Along the way, sometimes I'll stop at the Church, which is captivating. The view is nice, and the atmosphere amazing. You can climb the Hill, where there is also a super prospect.

  • Great trip, a comfortable ascent, not too strenuous and then rewarded you with great views! Beautiful old ruins. The area of ring rum is just as worth seeing!

  • Beautiful medieval castle. It was a favourite place of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor, and I must say, that he had good taste.
  • A magical place that me and my family absolutely thrilled! The village below the Castle, with the old station and the steam train, is very picturesque, and it would cost for a separate trip. The Castle Church is then due to its location and capabilities of an incredibly large, rugged, full of hidden paths and nooks and crannies. And incredibly well kept. The whole place also provides beautiful views of the surroundings, which are just now in the fall fun in all colors. Definitely recommend it for anyone who is able to beat down a couple of stairs and steeper slope. For the little effort you will be greatly rewarded.

  • Can be solved only through the Castle and monastery of Oybin visit an admission ticket. For entering a spacious grounds with Castle and monastery ruins, which are very well signposted. You can learn much about everyday Castle and monastic life. There is a beautiful trail with fantastic views in the Zittau Mountains and of course also on the railway and its station in Oybin. Our children 5 and 7 years liked it very well. Necessarily with the Kleinbahn drive!
