  • All in all a very nice skiing area with (even at temperatures above 0 ° C) well prepared ski slopes. Unfortunately, there are transport capacity and the comfort of watching the older chairlifts on the amount of time. This applies in particular to the compound in the southern part (---> Kanzelwand) of the area, the bridge is either a very slow 2 armchair or the one (1) large gondola, which runs only in the back and back mode.

  • Low-cost, great area for kids to ski. With great fun Park. Great views of the mountains.

  • We depart regularly (1-2 times a few days) in a year in the Fellhorn/Kanzelwand ski. The area offers a range of varied pistes (severity moderate to challenging). As a rule, the slopes are well prepared in the morning. The lift capacity is very well built. Almost too good for the ratio of lift capacity to place on the slopes. Advantage: short waiting times at the lifts. Disadvantage: often very full tracks. Due to the good availability of Oberstdorf, there are always many day visitors from the environment and active from ski-racing clubs, of which many according to good skiing can be (noticeable difference to the more secluded inner Alpine areas). Most slopes professionals deal with her can also quite responsible, however, but above-average many irresponsible speeders where it is overtaken by several times a day at high speed and with much too little security distance is my experience in this area. I myself am several times been whacked when such actions from behind. This something can spoil the fun sometimes to one. A slope oversight that here demonstrates its presence and sometimes speaks out warnings in offending or pulls ski passes, would work wonders here.
