Steinwasen Park, Oberried

(4.2/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
The wide variety of activities at Steinwasen Park offers both roller-coaster thrills and communion with nature. Most of the family-friendly attractions-- exhibits that recreate the historic Black Forest, the Fairy-tale Cinema, the 4D Cinema, and Glacier World--are gathered together in the park's southern end and main entrance. See the park at high speeds on the Mountain Coaster that loops its outer borders. From the apex of the coaster's drops, you'll spy animals like lynxes, red deer, ibexes, and boar roaming in large, landscaped pens. Try not to miss the hike to the Feldberg View lookout point on the northeastern edge of the park. With our custom trip planner, Oberried attractions like Steinwasen Park can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • We have our two 8 - year-old children spent a wundrschönen day there. The kids were excited and we parents also... There is much to explore and we had to also not long stand on. We will come back.

  • It is tiny, only there are 4 attractions that are worth the penalty (we went with 9 and 12 year olds), but spent it well, over and over again down the slides of summer. Is very nice, this in the middle of the forest. Closing soon, so there still enough time to visit the city of Freiburg.

  • Cheaper admission with the Hochschwarzwald cone card. We wanted to visit on his last day in this month the stone Wasen fun fair park and were the only visitors. The Park was already closed, although on the Internet until 8 January. We come back in the summer.

  • Well maintained place offering great attractions for the young family. Beautiful views of nature all around.
  • This is an excellent place to go with your kids for the day. You can see some animals (mountain and forest type such as boars, deers, lynx, bunnies etc.) and have lots of fun on the attractions. There are two toboggens, also for the kids which don't like fast runs, a wild water run with a really interesting twist at the beginning (forgive me the pun), an indoor train (a little bit faster) and an indoor space race which again is well suited for kids not liking the fast rides. There is an indoor playground and some movie places for bad weather spells and a fantastic outdoor playground. Special tip, any young pirate can exercise their aiming abilities with the canon (50 cents for 4 shots) and trying to get the people wet that come down the wild water ride.
  • Nice mountain park near Freiburg. We visited in August and it was crowded. It is nice to try the typical Rodelbahn of the Black Forest. The prices of drinks and food are too high.
  • amazing place to spend a whole day with kids, big and small.
  • Great amusement park for kids and their parents
