we love this small town especially the frescos on the houses. Beautiful wood carving shops as well. Oberammergau is definitely worth a visit. The frescos tells a story .

Wie immer: super Service, super Ambiente, super Essen!
Andreas EirainerGoods there as a guest in the restaurant. In addition to the friendly staff, the rustic, cosy and traditional atmosphere has delighted us. The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio absolutely fair.show original

Lothar ReegWe were to the "Piemonter truffle feast menu" our get-together with 6 people. SEHR schöner Platz at the tiled stove with a big enough table. The selection of wines, perfect for the 6-course: The dry, tart GAVI fit excellently to the Piedmont vegetable soup with truffle hood. A poem the fennel saffron risotto under the Loup de Mer. My highlights: The two pasta to veal Sirloin steak with porcini mushrooms and white truffle foam, to a full, Ruby-colored Barolo 2006.! Even the dessert was disappointing not plus good service: gives 5-star. P.S.: not to mention, the price - to-performance ratio is hard to beat.show original
