Established with the sole purpose of providing an entertaining and informative overview of the history of the city, Stadtmuseum Fembohaus is inside the restored rooms of a merchant's mansion built in the Renaissance era. The museum features conventional exhibits and multimedia shows designed to take visitors on a journey through nearly a millennium of the city's history. The exhibits cover a wide range of topics, including cuisine, trade, crafts, and city governance. Audio tours are available in several languages, though you can also make arrangements for a guided tour with a knowledgeable staff member. • A very well done museum covering the history of Nuremberg. You don't feel the need to play the audio guide for every single item unless you're really interested in them. Overall a good glimpse into the history of the town.
  • Nice!
  • A beautifully furnished house with old furniture and much stucco on the ceiling. Here you can put back in the past. The city model in the attic and the view to the old town is particularly beautiful. In the inner courtyard can relax wonderfully.
