  • St .Jacob's Church is situated in the historical centre of Nuremberg on Jakobsplatz square, not far from the Church of St. Lawrence and St. Elizabeth's Church. In 1289 the Romanesque chapel was demolished and on its foundation built the Church of St. Jacob Church in the Gothic style with three naves. Like all in the year 1943, the Church was severely damaged. The reconstruction lasted until 1962, demolished columns. Next to the main church building tier Tower. It is now a Lutheran Church. Inside: one room with minimalist furniture. And very bright altar with stained-glass Windows. There are wooden sculpture group of Saint Anne, the Virgin and child and altarpiece in the choir.

  • A very pretty church. The murals, paintings, and stained glass is worth the visit.
  • One of the oldest churches in Nuremberg named after St Sebaldus the patron Saint of the city. It is Lutheran since the Reformation. The organ of the church was installed in 1975._
  • If you go in September on a Monday it's very peaceful from the loud outside. Also free suggested 2€ but you don't have to pay.
