Where to stay in Nuremberg

The Altstadt and the Egidienviertel districts, the city's historical sections, provide an array of guesthouses and hotels. An alternative is the Gostenhof area, a suburban region with a selection of tourist sites. If you stay in Gostenhof, however, you need to take public transportation to the city center. For local flair, consider staying in the Knoblauchsland district near the Hauptmarkt. Avoid the Südstadt district near the train station, which is mainly residential and doesn't offer many entertainment options or access to sites.

  • Beautiful church, but the backside of it seems a bit grim other than the lovely restaurant.
  • This Evangelich Church is the symbol of the city and need to be visit. Inside you can find guide in the most common european leanguage and thi could help tourist in understanding the place richness.
  • A very pretty church. The murals, paintings, and stained glass is worth the visit.
  • One of the oldest churches in Nuremberg named after St Sebaldus the patron Saint of the city. It is Lutheran since the Reformation. The organ of the church was installed in 1975._
  • If you go in September on a Monday it's very peaceful from the loud outside. Also free suggested 2€ but you don't have to pay.
