Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web
St. Lorenz Church stands as one of the most prominent Evangelical Lutheran churches in Bavaria. Admire the Gothic architecture outside and the many artworks inside. You'll find pieces by famous German artists such as Veit Stoss, Adam Kraft, and Peter Vischer the Elder. The gothic choir of the church, started by medieval master mason Konrad Roriczer, is particularly striking. If you're lucky, you may get to hear some music played on one of Europe's largest organs. Daily guided tours are an option. Make St. Lorenz Church a centerpiece of your Nuremberg vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our Nuremberg family vacation planner.

  • one of the significant points of Nuremberg, placed in the Centre of the city by day before there is always a considerable ferment with stalls, passing busy citizens, tourists, in short, a lot of people. It's a little hard to see it in its entirety a little tablet from the other buildings but in any case one cannot appreciate the excellent features two Gothic bell towers and the whole façade. Inside then meerita a visit made calmly to appreciate its marvels. Unfortunately, this church was heavily damaged by war but reconstruction and restoration was done very well and brought her back to the ancient majestic beauty.

  • Acoustic is great inside View is great from Karolinenstrasse Often there are stands and fairs all around, and this is an easy to find gathering point. Generally on the "tour of old town" for any visitor that comes into town.

  • With its own underground stop, the Lorenzkirche is a perfect meeting place in the heart of the city. A small stone rat figure reminiscent of the legend of the walled monk.
