  • Please allow at least 2 hours to visit knowing that the Museum closes at 18: 00. Visit with audio guide with all kinds of documents: pictures, videos, Audio, objects... It offers a family couple + 3 ticket children (-15) = 11 euro interesting!

  • From the subway a few minutes on foot ... and in a place that you know from textbooks, books, tv and. .. For 5 euro buy a ticket and take the audioguide in Russian. There is a luggage storage (1 euro, which then returns when you open booths), on 1 and 2 floors, Elevator, soft chairs and sofas ... but it is equipment for the convenience of visitors. The main thing is the feeling of presence. Courtroom 600 where the process, photos, movies, description + in-depth audio guide. Very impressed with this Memorial, count 3 hours to visit to all consider and hear.

  • An audio guide experience. Plenty of information combining audio guides with numbered photographs. Pretty hard going if you are accompanied by young children as it is geared much more to adults due to...  more »

  • Enter the historic courtroom. Walk where war criminals and their prosecutors walked. Imagine being there during the trials. It is not hard to do.
  • It's definitely interesting to see the venue of the Nuremberg trials if you're in the city. But you can only see the courtroom and another room with a looot of information, not much more further objects, rooms or prison cells. I would create a 'fast track' circuit so that you don't have to listen to everything in your Audioguide for 2 hours if you're not a history freak but just the basic stuff. The entrance fee of 5 EUR per adult is cheap. But it's a must when in Nuremberg.
  • A copious amount of information on the Nuremberg trials. Whilst the literature is in German there is an audioguide in English. A budget friendly way to see and hear about a significant moment in history.
  • This place is a must see...I would have been happy to just stand in the courtroom. The interactive Muesum is a fantastic bonus. Give yourself plenty of time, there is a lot to watch and listen to. With only a 5 euro entrance fee you will get great value for money. Even if you only spend 30 minutes looking around.
  • The Nürnberg Memorial really deserves a visit.

Where to stay in Nuremberg

The Altstadt and the Egidienviertel districts, the city's historical sections, provide an array of guesthouses and hotels. An alternative is the Gostenhof area, a suburban region with a selection of tourist sites. If you stay in Gostenhof, however, you need to take public transportation to the city center. For local flair, consider staying in the Knoblauchsland district near the Hauptmarkt. Avoid the Südstadt district near the train station, which is mainly residential and doesn't offer many entertainment options or access to sites.
