  • Great place to refresh your memories of the old cars and few other things like bikes, typewriters , old calculators, fire engine, mobile phones, etc.
  • A really cool auto museum with lots of old car related "stuff". I wasn't really expecting much but I really enjoyed this museum. I'd go there again! One note... Merks is located on the corner of Pirnaer Strasse & Klingenhofstraße - you can park at that corner to go into Merks. Or you can drive into the open gate there and park inside. For some reason Google Maps wants you to walk in from down the street 75 meters down. Just park at the intersection and walk inside. Also be sure to visit Ofenwerk just 500 meters down the street from Merks. :-) Dackel
  • TOP!!!
  • In merks motor Museum, there are not only a smorgasbord of various car and motorcycle classics, but also any amount of interesting facts about the previous owners famous part of the. Who gets the opportunity to experience a tour, with Mr Merk will not forget so soon this with security. For the physical well-being is also well catered. The opposite held nightlife expect but in the surrounding area with many shards of glass and at night with the one or the other drunken.

Where to stay in Nuremberg

The Altstadt and the Egidienviertel districts, the city's historical sections, provide an array of guesthouses and hotels. An alternative is the Gostenhof area, a suburban region with a selection of tourist sites. If you stay in Gostenhof, however, you need to take public transportation to the city center. For local flair, consider staying in the Knoblauchsland district near the Hauptmarkt. Avoid the Südstadt district near the train station, which is mainly residential and doesn't offer many entertainment options or access to sites.
