Nuerburgring, a motorsports complex near the village of Nürburg, was nicknamed The Green Hell by racer Jackie Stewart because of its difficulty and peculiarities. Its 20.8 km (12.9 mi) long north loop changes elevation by more than 300 m (1,000 ft). Ask about the opportunity to drive your own car on the legendary Nordschleife, or consider renting a fast car onsite so you can hug the curves. For events, the complex can hold 150,000 spectators. A must for motorised sports fanatics. Big and fun museum. Would recommend to see the ring from 18:00 to 20:00 (everyone can on the ring).
First visit and unfortunately couldn't organise a drive of the track due to a misunderstanding with a booking with a track day the following day but my BMW taxi ride was still in place and I'll be back to drive next year! An amazing track which you have to drive or be driven around to appreciate. Visited September 2014

The Nurburgring - whats not to like! Maybe one day, they'll open that rollercoaster!?
Dream come true. Went out in the BMW M5 Ring Taxi and it was the best 10 minutes ever. Went to a lookout after and just watched cars for an hour or so, I could have stayed there all day.
