  • Lovingly restored and beautiful views from the tower. Interesting in terms of historical Exposition. Modern art was mwah. Is beautiful. You can also walk and it's not very touristy.

  • After we had celebrated a birthday here a few years ago, we are now regularly in the Museum Schloss Homburg to take walks in the beautiful surroundings or to look at the changing exhibitions (currently recommended: "Contemporary") the permanent exhibition, which highlights the economic history of the region is particularly impressive.

  • A gem in the "premium climatic health resort" the location, the views over the entire upper Bergische land in the deep green of the Castle Tower, with Culinary surprises can be found rarely so close to each other. The castle is offered both inside and outside for very good concerts, to experience as well the interesting history in the Museum.

  • Connect your visit in the Bergischen - / oberbergischer - country just with a side trip to the popular Castle Homburg. Usually the featured medieval - market in the entire Castle - held terrain in April / May. (Among other things during these days, the castle is open and you can connect your visit with a castle - tour and a rewarding climbing the tower.) Nice people and things of daily needs, such as jewellery, wooden toys, pottery items, and much more are offered. Also tired of you're supposed to be at the many stalls with various food and beverages. A worthwhile visit and a nice insight into's mountain,... Market worth watching, even without middle - ages... Unlike contrary statements, I feel the employees of the Castle - operation for years a consistently competent and friendly...

  • Very nice unit, well maintained, beautiful views and exhibitions. This places emphasis on authentic works and contemporary analysis of history.

  • The castle is very beautiful and well preserved. A visit is worthwhile especially if there is a medieval market and Kurzweyl provide training as well as Showmen.

  • Very unfriendly staff, if it really is angegiftet because one does not know the distribution of the Orangery then one can doubt the competence of employees. Because we as a visitor, didn't know where is what exhibition, nor were never in the new building and asked where to find the 'White Cube', we have pointed out very unfriendly that we should just go down the stairs and that it would be self explanatory. Where please? A shield, which only says what does this cultivation is in front of the entrance and also nothing is in the showroom itself. If you due to simple questions on gemault like the people in front of us (they asked if the castle was open, since some would open only from April) then this museum is definitely worse than it is.

  • A beautiful and friendly Museum with exhibits from the middle ages in the Biedermeier. Worth a visit!
