  • Eighty years on and this is still an engineering masterpiece. The adjacent concrete replacement is due to take over - or at least become operational - in the not too distant future but in the meantime...  more »
  • Built in 1934, the Boat Lift Niederfinow still carries over 10 thousand boats a year - with the water under them. It was amazing to see this huge construction. I've never imagined anything like this e...  more »

  • Interesting and very impressive. Was here with kids from 4 to 16 and everyone liked it. Make sure to take the boat trip.
  • Very interesting structure, more info in a small museum. Recommended
  • Historical and nice place to visit. We visit the place with our wohnmobil. Excellent place to stay ifall you have a wohnmobil or wohnwagen.
  • Very impressive to see this large machinery in action. You can also book a boot trip to really get the live-feeling.
  • An impressive piece of engineering up close to inspect and marvel at. Also ridiculously cheap
