Baumwipfelpfad, Neuschonau

(4.7/5 based on 220+ reviews on the web)
To see the Bavarian forest from a different perspective, pay a visit to Baumwipfelpfad, a 1,300 m (4,265 ft) path that winds its way to a 44 m (145 ft) tall tower, from which you can see for miles. Follow the gently sloping walkway until you are walking among the treetops. Stop at the various informational panels to learn about the local wildlife, or let the kids play at the adventure stations, which feature wooden bridges and rope challenges. The path is wide and shaded, and it's sloped gradually enough that it is easily accessible with wheelchairs or strollers. • Wrapped in a white dress we could visit the treetop path in January. After we have visited already the forest tops path two years ago, it was only consistently also here to look. That has us Steeg and the trail run on the top have fun made. Unfortunately, we could not commit the obstacles due to the snow but have chosen the normal way. The information panels are easy and understandable for everyone. Here you can spend lots of time with children and and at the same time with fun and learn what. The path is suitable for every season, shows the nature again and again from a different angle. I imagine beautifully the spring and the autumn. In snow the small paths not be or only difficult break. We therefore certainly return to a warmer season to explore more of the area.

  • We were pleased that this path was opened with guest card per person € 6,00 accessible very. As a normal visitor € 9,00 and this is definitely too much money for this short path through the trees!

  • A must-see if you are in this part of the forest of Bayer. Sensational views and in the forest. Great stations along the way - especially for the little ones very instructive.
