Die Nicht-öffnen-Türe gab es nicht mehr, trotzdem war wunderbare Rückreise in die Kindheit. Die köstliche Schmalznudel im Café in der Turmstube hat für die fehlende Türe mehr als entschädigt. There is no longer the not open door, was wonderful journey into childhood. The delicious noodle of lard in the Café in the Tower room has more than compensated for the missing door.show original

The museum looks fairly small, offers but as much information, film clips, audio examples, absurd objects, that you can spend to loose a few hours there. Although the heyday of the comedian in the 20s were years of the previous century., his statements and aphorisms is more than up-to-date (the stranger in the stranger is foreign). Except for the biography and the career of Karl Valentin and Liesl Karlstadt is peppered the Museum with sculptures and absurd word games, E.g. a jar labeled "official welding - very rare". An interesting small photo exhibition describes the precarious situation of the population in Munich close to the turn of the century. There is also a small cinema where films are shown every hour different Karl Valentin. And then there are still the original Turmstüberl set up like yesteryear where you can a bite eat dishes BB´s and drink on Grandma. Due to the content mainly of German language comedy and puns, the Museum is recommended rather for an audience with a good knowledge of the German language.show original

Curious things including those nail on the Valentine hung up his carpentry job and a "winter toothpick" will be issued. You can complete the visit in the cosy "Turmstüberl" over a cup of coffee. Finally a true saying especially in this year: "I am if it's raining, because if I am not, it rains too".show original
This museum about a German comedian is a fun place to go to. Definitely worth a visit if your German is good enough. If not, you might enjoy the Turmstüberl - one of the most original places in Munich. Have a beer, coffee, cake or whatever up there and enjoy a taste of medieval Germany for a decent price.

E KamWhat for the typical, retardierten Munich "Cult" spinner. If you put the Spieplzeugkiste of any child including the waste in shelves, this is already what one sees in the Valentine Museum. I was almost sick of so much disease. And disease is probably the right word, otherwise it would be not the supposedly intellectual admirers of this inventor and Kultivierers of Munich simplicity. Oh, no - Musäum, Oh how original and intelligent! Ko...n zshow original
