  • It is a beautiful architectural work that is worth visiting and seeing it on both sides and of course in its interior arches

  • This historical arch is known as the "Victory Gate" in English. This monument has a man on top with 3 lions, made in bronze, which signifies the connection to the ruling family of that time. The Arch ...  more »
  • Were for dinner (without login) there; the location right on the famous Leopold Street quite central in Schwabing; Parking is hit and Miss. The ambience is L ' Osteria typical in the franchise style, nothing new, modern and "Teen", lighting pleasantly subdued; The noise level was exceptionally loud, what was the steady hochgelevelten music, which in turn drives the audience to always fair talk! This is obviously due to the concept, as an "Insider" even acknowledged me; one wants to off reserve the tables just as often as possible. The audience is a long queue, mostly young and "hip", at the entrance to what always amazes me at this no qualitative or in terms of ambiance outstanding dining options. We just wanted to eat something "Small"; a long 'high table' was almost completely free; because no one wanted to deal with us, we asked one of something "startled" around scuttling operations, whether we are likely to sit down; We were sure done in about an hour. Disinterested was gives that there would be no real interest in an "intermediate assignment" of the table; This was reserved only for almost 2 hours later. We insisted to stay; suddenly, it was all right. The food was typical L 'Osteria; fresh large salad with Turkey, risotto with vegetables turned out to be risotto with mushrooms, other vegetables was not to determine; the quality was good. The service worked well, hospitality is a matter of luck; The prices are ok, not cheap, as is known, Yes. Because I know well the "chain" and often visited in several cities I conclude once again: total an average L ' Osteria branch in good city centre location; " me much too loud and hectic, possibly for a small snack and during the day ok. It's just L ' Osteria in it where L ' Osteria stands on it. who wants to go individually Italian, should be "Googling" rather again.

  • Not the fanciest European arch but still very well done and full of details.
  • Come when it gets dark and take a great long exposure picture with the cars driving around.
  • Went their in September and really enjoyed the fastival around the area
  • Beautiful neoclassicism architecture which has been incorporated to the roadway. Recommend for night photos with slow shutter speeds for fun effects
  • A landmark in Schwabing as it was the former border between the city of Munich and the then village of Schwabing
