  • The East Park is the green lung in the Munich-based East. Large lawns, barbecue area, quiet corners, Lakes throughout the Park, sledding Hill with the notorious hell channel :-), viewpoints, freshly renovated large children's playground, game station of the city of Munich on Sunday, fitness club of the SVN and my favorite tree!

  • Was staying nearby...we visited the park on our first day - very nice. It also has a restaurant and beer garden!
  • It is smaller than the Englischer Garten parkland but definitely pleasant and well maintained like many other things in Munich. Meanwhile, you can go there by bike, and the games contained within are always well made and well maintained (each structure has a code number to be communicated to the municipal service of maintenance if faults arise). But the question that catches the eye of an Italian is that the guards are much lower and ecologically to those found in our public systems (when they exist). Often are high around 2/2.5 metres but strangely there are no accidents. It is a normality that we are used to but that has a reason that is part of the culture of this people and all those who agree to these rules. If you bring your child to the Park are responsible, why are you parent you need to affect his life and you have to evaluate whether a plant is within his reach or not. This underlying thought produces 2 effects: the parents participate in the activities of the children and the children are careful what they do because otherwise you are bad. Also children behave differently between them, regardless of the ethnic group to which they belong, are not competitive with each other, don't go, don't argue. There are rules of coexistence, you follow it. Returning to the Park, at the entrance there are pools which cost 4euros entry for the entire day. Always at the main entrance there is a beer garden with about 500 seats in which people buy beer and can go to eat or take the dishes which are made available from the kitchen (menu rather addressed to meat but there are also vegetables). There are more than enough available lawns, an artificial lake and animals that you go around looking for some tidbit ... A city park and children is very important.
