Fun & Games
You can climb the roof and bungee-jump into the famous Olympiapark, home of the 1972 Olympics. This stadium is one of the rare examples of infrastructure built for the Olympics that has remained in use long after the end of the event. It now hosts concerts, festivals, and even religious special occasions. The complex includes the stadium, swimming hall, ice rink, media center, tennis facility, Olympic village, and iconic 291 m (955 ft) tower. At the top of the tower is an observation platform and revolving restaurant. You can walk, cycle, inline skate, or jog around the lake. Or, you can rent a row or paddleboat. Check online for upcoming special events and guided tours. With our custom trip planner, Munich attractions like Olympiapark can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • Worth seeing once. Very pretty grounds to explore. Easy to get to via the U3. Definitely dip in the aquatic center and watch the swimmers and divers (also a great way to warm up on a cold day). I woul...  more »
  • The OPark is always an experience. You should visit him but my opinion in connection with an event. Such as Tollwood-Festival or sporting event. The site works without people to sterile.

  • The Olympic Park moves. As historical place re-defined, today an amusement park, there is something for everyone. Strolling, Geschichtskunde, ambitious sports and adventure. Also thankfully super opened up. What you want.

  • This is really one of my favorite parks in Munich. You can do recreational stuff like sports, relaxing or just talking a walk (with your dog). The Olympic Mountain is always an amazing challenge if you run to its top; & the view is amazing, especially for sunsets! The Olympic Stadium, the swimming hall and the tower are of course in the park too. I really recommend checking it out.
  • One of the many gorgeous places in Munich. Part of an history (Olympic games). There's the tower where you can take the lift and have a chance to enjoy the beautiful view of the city from above. Lovely!!!
  • Wonderful place to spend a day in when visiting Munich. There are quite a few things to do both in and near the park, especially on summer weekends. The BMW museum and BMW welt are both nearby. There is always some sort of special exhibition running. A must-see here is the flea market, on some summer days.
  • Wonderful place, can spend a complete day there. You can take a tour in Hop-on Hop-off. Star Wars identities is a very good place for your kids or if you are fan. It has very scenic and beautiful pathways.
  • Amazing!!!!! I love pretty much every corner of the Olympia Park! There are plenty of loans that you can picnic on, walk up the hill and see beautiful Munich... you can eat various foods because there either is a good truck there or the Biergarten:) love it!
