  • I can repeat the review that was left to you in 2015, there was a similar situation in 2019, "No information, what and why was closed Was the New Pinacotheka in the place nowhere, even on the doors. People come up, poke at the door, where the opening hours are exactly those in which came and go, it is very hurtful. I wonder why?"

  • In all respects an exceptional location. The Design department is simply phenomenal, which is also true for the collection of modern art. The collection itself is fine, but the presentation gets the best out of the various works of art.

  • Popular place with locals and tourists alike. Good job by the curators to limit the number of visitors in the galleries. Coat and bags deposit is available at level -1.
  • A fantastic collection of 18-19th centuries, mostly paintings and a few great sculptures. A stark contrast between old school and impressionist painting, some pointillism and old German and Dutch styles. Free admission, free WiFi, restrooms. Would be boring for kids, however and exposes quite some nudity. Good lighting and coaches for a small break.
  • It was definitely worth the money. Try to go on a Sunday as the entry fee is reduced to 1 euro for everyone. Unfortunately the Neue Pinakothek will be closing for quite long (around 6 years) sometime in 2019 for renovations.
  • Impressive but for me too much. Fascinating photo sharp paintings of people who lived 150 years ago. Unbelievable paintings of Rome around 1850 to see how it at that time looked like a village. I was happy to visit the coffee garden to relax in between looking at all these master pieces.
  • Van Gogh, Monet, Manet, Klimt... Loved this. They were also handing out free tickets and audio-guides when I arrived!
