  • Large museum and extremely well curated with a mix of German and other artists represented. As the world's first museum devoted to contemporary art it continues to live up to the standards of excellence it has established since the day it opened its doors. For the casual to avid art lover there are many fantastic evenings to be spent exploring the works in his gallery
  • One of my favourite museums in Europe. Nice collection of Monet and Manet. Great that it was free once a week.
  • Alte Pinakothek has a bigger/nicer building but neue pinakothek's collection is amazing. Works by Van gogh, Gustav klimt, monet, Picasso. Not a super large gallery though, only took me about an hour and a half, could probably be seen in 45min to an hour tho
  • Absolutely fantastic collection, complete with works from Monet, Gauguin, Manet and van Gogh. Worth a visit, especially with the included free audioguide.
  • Very good if you have an interest in that era of art.
