  • The outer shape of the building suggests in too "modern suspension technique". It runs but very logically on the labels well mounted and well fitted for sliding sight glasses carriers through the exhibition. In each room, a manual is in the learn about the sculptures and there exhibited Bilter.

  • Munich has much to offer in art, but the NEUE PINAKOTHEK is simply overwhelming for a lover of the 19th century - at least. Old and new Pinakothek and Pinakothek der Moderne make — assuming good condition - in one day. I personal will for the next time a whole day with correspondingly long lunch break only for the new art gallery schedule...

  • My favorite Pinakothek! Lots of very beautiful pieces of art exposed, well organized and quite big. I really love the last few rooms as I am a huge Klimt, Gaugin, Monet and Van Gogh fan. In Sundays the entrance is just 1€. Definitely worth a visit when in Munich.
  • The most boring tour I've ever had in my life. The guide didn't care for what we were interested in and just talked on forever. She never answered a question. The museum is filled with great paintings but the building is so ugly. Please, show these paintings some more respect.
  • EXTREMELY IMPOLITE AND RUDE! POOR QUALITY OF STAFF! I have visited many museums in Europe. They all gave me valuable and wonderful experience. This museum is the worst one I have ever met. The museum closed at 6:00p.m.. I and my husband left the exhibition hall at 5:55p.m.. We strictly followed the announcement of the museum with our greatest courtesy. My husband needed to go to toilet. I went to the locker place first to wait for my husband. One of the staff then came to me and said, ”Good morning.”, and mocked me to make him get off his work late. The locker key was in my husband’s trouser bag. I wondered whether I should rush in the male toilet immediately to get the key off from my husband’s trouser while he was pissing. My husband came to the locker place a minute later. We needed to get back our packsacks and wear our clothing because the outside was very chilly at night. We were already hurrying up but the staff threatened us to CALL THE POLICE because he claimed that we were not willing to leave. I’ve never encountered such rude and impolite people in Europe before. TOTALLY WITHOUT RESPECT. I’d kindly suggest the dear curator of the museum to stick a big notice on their entry to remind all the visitors that NO VISITORS ARE ALLOWED BECAUSE THEIR DISTINGUISHED STAFF NEED TO LEAVE THEIR WORK AT EXACTLY 6 O’CLOCK. I will never visit this museum again.
  • Great museum of European art from 18th and 19th century. There are works from Monet, Van Gogh, Klimt etc.
  • One of the fullest and widest collection of paintings, sculptures and artistic representations I've ever seen. All the 23 rooms are worth a visit. Don't skip it!
