  • Maximilianeum Palace is located on the shore at the end of the street Izara Maximilianstrasse. Built in the 19th century under the University. There sits the Bavarian Parliament. Consider building can only come from the outside. But the appearance of it is impressive.

  • It is a very nice and impressive building, but you have to see it from the other side of the bridge to appreciate it

  • We got off the bus 190 in the Max Weber Platz, and from there we could take the Metro (U-Ban) to the Center, but fortunately we continue walking because we were rested and the afternoon was very gentle and pleasant for walking. We went down to Max Planck Strasse until we saw a wall that surrounded the perimeter with Poe and spotlights, now turned off. Very soon we circled toward his sunny face, and I took my brand new mobile LG G 5 open my Google Maps to locate our position. Turns out that we were in the Maximilianeun, today headquarters of the Parliament and of the Senate of Bavaria. As soon as it contemplate with the Sun of the afternoon illuminating and heated its facade us approach to portray it it best possible given its grandeur and its position high on a hill. Us a little closer and saw that there was a young man playing the piano, to whom I made a few pictures undeterred in my presence because this building also houses a school for gifted young in a garden almost in front of the façade. Then came a brand new red Ferrari and they parked in front of the metal door of the gate of the entrance to the main courtyard of the facade, also with the intention of photographing it one of the passengers, but the car was the shadow while the building looked to the Sun. Right there begins the Maximilians Brücke, or bridge of Maximilian II, and we crossed it to see the Rio Isar with the few kids who dared to swim in its cool waters.

  • Nice place for pictures. Don't bother going inside. The guided tour is just a lecture in a discussion room full of fancy chairs and little else. You're not allowed to go down the hallways where there is anything of real interest and when I accidentally did, I was reprimanded (!) They have a great Sunday brunch in the spring and summer months -buffet style but great food (shame about the awful coffee though (Nescafé instant?))
  • What a big beautiful building. Very picturesque
  • You cannot skip it. At sunset should be the best view of it.
  • Very impressive building, wonderful Gothic architecture, it's the house of the Bavarian Parliament. Definitely one of the main landmarks of Munich!
  • Go see this. It's amazing to see, even just driving by.
