Reredos-the second largest in Christendom fresco last judgement executed within 4 years Peter Cornelius in the first half of the 19 century representative of little known we have current in art of the German Nazarene movement-ideal world which were Bible, Durer and early Raphael, Michelangelo's last judgment only in the Vatican in Munich was the Christmas holidays and lived at close-but the famous mural of the saw do not immediately-but seen very voshitivshuju me meeting holiday with breathtaking performance with participation of children body and brass band-Christmas songs and hymns in the final all sang the famous-"Stille nacht. Heilige Nacht "and widely open doors under blagvest bells went outside, the reredos was in semi-darkness Mural still considered-very beautiful and solemnly with deep religiosity, Even indifferent to religion recommend-porsetit' place interesting and signed, and is to see and do

  • This church in Munich could not be separated from the side with it. The Church was built at the urging of Bavarian King Ludwig the first outwardly seems pretty simple. nothing remarkable, but the Interior of the strikes and the sizes of the fresco (1836-40) by Peter Cornelius. After Michelangelo's "last judgment" in the Sistine Chapel is one of the world's largest wall murals. The Church was built by the architect Friedrich von Gartnerom (Friedrich Von Gartner) in 1829-1844. Church of white stone represents in terms of cross (60 meters dinnoy, 20 metres high). The façade is decorated with two towers, each with a height of 71 meter with six bells, each named for one of the Saints-patrons of the Royal family. The largest of the bells weighs 3880 kg. He calls every Friday at 3:00 pm. Dimensions frescos Cornelius above the altar are impressive: 18 to 11.5 meters. Sculptures of Jesus and the four evangelists met Ludwig von Shvantalerom (Ludwig Von Schwanthaler). Medallions with images of bishops work Gebhard Fugelja (Gebhard Fugel, 1904). Students studying at the University of Munich, piously believe that prayers in churches bring good luck on exams, so during the session you will encounter a large number of young parishioners.
