  • We were here for the Katie Melua & Gori Womens choir concert. Liked has stress-free access to the seats on the open foyer, the offered drinks and snacks are not overpriced, there are original Zotter chocolate. Tickets are what is very comfortable, only with the direct input of controlled, in which it has its seats. Of the most seats of the large concert hall, the view should be fully good, the acoustics were OK too. Block F is fine for cheaper tickets with good visibility.

  • We were in the Philharmonie by felt College of House in the concert of Katie Melua. The House is great designed and allows a super acoustics. The chairs can be considered to be extremely convenient. Next to the Philharmonie, there would be some more, smaller rooms, which we have not visited. The u-Bahn/S-Bahn station Rosenheimer Platz is located next door, tip!

  • Cross the space between the cultural centre Fountain (giant water-spewing tuba) in the direction of GEMA past at the Erich Schulze and pays attention to the floor, so you reach a plaque embedded in the floor for the resistance fighter Georg Elser (1903-1945) in place of the former Bürgerbräukellers. Georg Elser struck a hole in a supporting pillar in that he then left a a bomb with a precise timer to launch an attack on Adolf Hitler during a rally of the National Socialists here in 1939 all night on their knees. But this left the basement before the explosion, Elser was arrested on the Swiss border and murdered at Dachau concentration camp.

  • A cultural spot with a large public library, concert halls and multi purpose rooms. A lot of (classical) concerts happen here as well as the main event of the Munich Filmfest. Throughout the year there are a lot of other events like KLANGfest or Analog/Digital.
  • Acoustic is practically always disappointing. If you really want to enjoy music, better visit another place (like Prinzregententheater) Munich is really in need of a good Concert Hall.
  • Great multi-purpose culture space. Lots going on here
  • Great place with plenty of cultural events and gastronomic options. concert hall does not have good acoustics and it's a little pricey.
  • THE Culture location in Munich. Besides of hosting High school for Music and adult educational center, they host festival, movie nights and concerts. Nice place to get into cultural life of the city.
