  • You can't close a museum on a Saturday morning ... Among other things in the sign outside was not shown the closure we were off at some point it got a clerk who told us it was closed. Lack of staff. Very little Teutonic ...

  • A small museum with free entry and a nice exhibition (dinosaurs! bones! fossils! yay!!!). Not every info label was translated to English, but I still appreciated it.  more »
  • Really interesting findings. Is a building from the early 900 with real fossils from millions of years ago. Is small and now you can see everything a Pearl outside the usual tour. It's free but many explanations are in German, the setting is modern.

  • A marvelous collection of artifacts in a dark, subterranean, space. Geared more for adults than children with just a few interactive computer displays to bring the museum to life. Go on Sunday when the entrance free is 1 Euro and you can easily spend a pleasant hour with kids. Don't forget to follow the red arrows! Tip: You'll see a red pole sticking out of the ceiling in one of the rooms. See if you can figure out the reason! Hint: Look at the lawn in front of the museum.
  • One of the best museums I ever visit! A pedagogic walkthrough of the Egyptian empire in architecture, culture and religion. Fantastic collection of artefacts and exposed in a professional way. Moreover the museum architecture itself I innovative, and presenting a great culture in Contemporary premises/environment is unbelievable! A visit to Egyptian museum is a must!
  • Many exhibits in a mysterious space. Mummies are my favorite part of this museum! Also the interactive map was very interesting and informative!
  • I thought this was a great musuem - lots of learning if you wanted it and lots of things to look at, too. Starting with the architecture and then the exhibits, following the path and ending at the 'hands-on' room. Too bad they don't have a cafe!
  • What a great museum! There are exhibits which are more than 6000 years old! The collection of coffins is also quite impressive. It is not as huge as other museums, but one will definitely need to spend more than 3 hours if they would stop and read everything that is on display or in the audioguide. The navigation inside the chambers is incredibly easy. Remarks to the staff: The media guide tablets have no power-saving function and the screen is always on, thus mine turned off after around an hour. Other than this minor remark, it was great!
