  • So this museum is seriously one of the best I've ever been to. The design and layout are perfect, the pieces on display are well spaced, the audio guide gives relevant and interesting information, and...  more »
  • On Sunday, we are giving a € per person in the Museum's great collections. A museum to visit.

  • The collections of the national Museum of Bavaria are enormous and grandiose. Between the medieval statues, the rococo altarpieces, nurseries. The Gallery of portraits, we will lose.

  • Really great museum. It's got a wide variety of artifacts and artworks. The basement is full of religious figurine scenes, which may not sound interesting but it really was cool. Can't beat the price at one euro per person.
  • An interesting walk through history up to 1900s. There are some stunning pieces and this place worth visiting if you have time. There are audio tours available and the entrance fee was 7€ on 04/10/17. Lockers are available it bring a 1€ or 2€ coin (it is refunded at the end).
  • Perhaps I went to this museum with the wrong expectations. I was looking for something unique to the history of the local area, culture, customs and cities. Instead this is a run of the mill history museum with plenty of old Christian artefacts, swords, armour and furniture. There are some cool old models of German towns but very little specifically about the local area. As a tourist to Munich I wouldn't recommend spending your limited time in this museum.
  • Good museum. You can find a nice furniture collection
  • Grat museum. You can see there lot of stuff. On Sunday cost only 1€.
