Prinzipalmarkt, Muenster
(4.7/5 based on 55+ reviews on the web)
Always abuzz with people, Prinzipalmarkt is in the vibrant center of the city. The main marketplace of the region for centuries, this site was largely destroyed during World War II. Reconstructed in the 1950s, the marketplace is shaped by the surrounding buildings with picturesque pediments attached to one another. Dominated by the historic city hall, the marketplace attracts both locals and tourists with its impressive selection of shops, cafes, and restaurants. You can stop by to take photos of some of the city's main architectural landmarks, spend a few hours window-shopping, or take in a light meal and watch the world go by. • Münster BB´s downtown or "gute Stube"... Very beautiful facades and gable, was very attentive and impressive. A lot more traditional retail jewelers, clothing and even gastronomy.

  • Place a German-style architecture. Very picturesque and characteristic, with little traffic, except bikes...

  • The well-known square in Munster is well worth a visit. The buildings are constructed after the second world war and have a huge beautiful and authentic look. You can from this central point all other highlights on foot.
