  • Provides a great insight into the cultural history of the Münsterland with old farmhouses, mills, craft houses, etc. You should bring a few hours of time.

  • The Mühlenhof leads back to past times of the Münsterland. Many of the houses were although off - and then rebuilt on the spot, and large gets to be one but the feeling in a village of the past. For families but also for friends and couples certainly a good idea to spend the day

  • This open-air museum is perfectly preserved old buildings. We were lucky with the weather, so we happily walked and imagined how people lived many years ago. Very beautiful nature and silence! A lot of local from neighboring towns who come on weekends to see something new.

  • Always again great. Ride as a family (4 generations) and when Nicholas market is there each year. In addition to small events such as Christmas arrangement craft from natural products, and candle goats or roll, the craft market, as well as a carriage tour through the museum village is just great. There, you can spend a wonderful day in an authentic atmosphere and classic buildings. Completion of the whole is then always visit the Nicholas and Knecht Ruprecht, telling the story to himself. Small prices, staff and visitors. Simply just recommended.

  • Culture outdoors last summer we had a seminar meeting here, that I had planned including a trip to the Museum. The guide was interesting and nice lady. It was definitely given a fascinating insight into the history of the region and the mill.
