  • Well planned museum, very interesting to learn more about the history of the city. Not too big, and audio guide plus a short version in english helped to extract the most out of the visit
  • This museum is an absolute must! Pull sufficient time for out and visit with a guide or with an audio guide. You get to see the entire history of Münster. This makes your city visit after that much more intense and interesting.

  • The Museum of the city of Münster (free admission) presents the development of the city of Munster from a pre-Christian Landesbibliothek settlement into a modern European city. There are not only valuable individual exhibits or exclusive works of art to first place, but also models of the individual development phases of the city or of distinctive buildings. Very nice, loading or the 50s Café is also aunt Emma! But just as paintings or everyday objects of from different periods can be admired. The Museum of the city of Münster is worth directly in the town centre and a visit to find (3 minutes from the train station, 5 minutes from the DOM)!
