  • The Park is no longer what it once was. There used to be many great animals, the always lively and actively worked. The stay in the Zoo was therefore a great attraction. Today it is different, though. The park looks shabby. There are no longer many animals. The animals that are there look unhappy. There is little retreats and the cleanliness there leaves a bit to be desired. I will not again visit the Park, even if the elevated location is very nice.

  • The Zoo is hopelessly out of date. The animals can feel not comfortable here. In these States, it is real to the animal rights.

  • As the name suggests it is a Zoo and no proper large Zoo, like for example the just over 30 minutes away the Krefelder Zoo. With 3.50 Euro entrance fee for adults is the price but also just one-third of the Zoopreises. 15 to 17 years old pay 2.50 euros, 4 - 14 years €1.50 and all under 4 years old are free. In addition, you can buy for 1 euro animal feed. Some species of birds are represented here, including two very beautiful snowy owls, several Artiodactyls, such as bison, alpacas, goats, donkeys and goats. Now, in the great former bear enclosure, washing and Coatis are housed. Until the mid-nineties there was here a polar bear until 2013 three brown bears. These three have been resettled but, fortunately for the animals in a large enclosure in East Germany. In addition, there are still seals, a few smaller species of monkeys, to admire, in addition to an ocelot and a Lynx, as well as a few more animals. Well the Zoo for (small) children is because you can feed many of the animals and petting and may, also there is also a large playground. Who may like to see animals and would like to spend so much money is right here.
