Church
Originally constructed between the 13th and 15th centuries, Hochstift Dom represents one of the finest examples of pure Gothic architecture in all of Germany. Marvel at the church's ornate towers, complete with intricate spires and flourishes, whose dark color starkly contrasts with the surrounding buildings. Explore the cathedral's interior, with its impressive vaulted ceilings and massive stone columns, a staple of the structure since medieval times. Don't miss the sweeping view over the rooftops of the nearby town. Be sure to check the website for information regarding tours, concerts, and religious services. • Nice
  • Who has risen one once on the mountain, you should look at the Cathedral. An imposing and architecturally beautiful building. To right time there is also music and then you can enjoy the Cathedral not only with the eyes but with the ears, too.

  • Until two years ago I regularly visited the "music to Christmas night" Holy nights. This is a very nice alternative to the traditional Nativity plays, which are totally crowded and not reach yet the hearts of most people. It is a divine service, which conveys in a very restrained way, the Christmas message. In the early days, only a handful of people was present, today early is important, otherwise there is no more room. Nevertheless I want to recommend this event, to the atmosphere, as well as the arrangements of classical pieces and readings sake.
