  • Meissen Cathedral is built on a rock promontory on the Elbe, a relatively high buildings surrounding the city, ned. From the car park, which is almost at the level of the embankment leading to the dome system of staircases, sometimes quite steep (handicapped persons can use the elevator with a fee of € 1). After their climbing then you can visit the trojstavbu Castle/castle/church and two prospects to look at Meissen. Directly from the square in front of the dome, you can go through the arch to the prospect over the waterfront with panoramic views of the Elbe River to the flow of the river. On the opposite side of the square leads to the urban core of the portal, where after about twenty metres turns subtle goal to "Meissen balcony"-a very interesting view of the old city centre with prejzovými roofs and narrow streets, a bit reminiscent of the Prague lesser town.

  • The Cathedral of this town in Saxony stands on the banks of the Elbe. You can reach it through the narrow streets that rise from downtown to the edge overhanging where besides the Cathedral there is the Castle and some hotels and restaurants. There is also a minibus service to the upper part of the city. The Gothic Cathedral is beautiful and we could attend the concert of half an hour to 12 hours. The entrance is free of charge, surcharge for the concert of 12 and combined with the entrance of the Castle next door.
