  • We have got following tip from our hosts: parking in a ball mill. From there climb (very steep - many levels - a few hikers) after Ettenberg. Visit the pilgrimage church Maria Ettenbergt (next door an economy), then descend through the forest (even steps) in the Gorge. The Gorge upwards even walk a few metres up to the waterfalls. Then the "against the current" through the Gorge in the Valley (gorgeous!). The ball mill is interesting (the owner once wetted the raw material with water - great effect). Recommended: Trekking shoes or boots! We ran's caution in wet conditions with small children, who have endured well! On the descent from the Church to the Gorge, the guys have played extensively in the water and built dams! This is also, by the way, at the end of the Gorge, in slightly lower water.

  • Very nice area. A visit is worthwhile in any case. Good walking shoes are recommended. We were there the second time.
