Museum is very interesting and you could spend half a day there. We like hats. Open only to 17 h. We arrived at 15 h and could no longer look at everything.

The Technoseum offers something to touch, look at, or join for each age and (almost) every taste. Spread over the day many demonstrations and actions take place. You can see for example a steam engine in operation, with an old railway drive manufacture paper... There are also special exhibitions, which of course make a special appeal. The many part - and trial corners for kids, where adults can enjoy are great.

The Technoseum is located close to the Luise Park in Mannheim. It offers an insight into the development and the State of the art. A day is not enough to see everything. Whoever wants to can try out also a lot of stuff themselves. I could stop me there for days and have my fun.

  • The only missing thing was explanations in English for some DIY experiments. However, there were many language-independent experiments as well. Good places with children. Think about at least 1.5 - 2 hours to spend in there. A cafe is available for a quick bite.
  • What a great place for kids and adults. Allow plenty of time as it's huge with loads of things to see and do. Lots of "hands-on" experiments keep the kids entertained. And the family card is great value.
  • I fell in love with the Technoseum just as I got there. The museum is laid out perfectly in the order that things were invented. I learnt so much about technology and the way our world has evolved in just a couple of hours. This is a must do in Manheim whenever you visit.
  • Very nice museum with a lot of "try and learn"! Highly suggested to all people of every age! Only 1/3 of the stuffs here are translated into English. You have to know German to fully enjoy this museum.
  • Very interesting, with a lot of interactive tools, much fun for kids (and also for their parents)
