  • We were the weekend at the Hockenheimring Onkelz Festival Matapaloz and have used the Duke Riedpark in Mannheim, to get some rest because the bands continue again only played from 16:30 h on Saturday. First on the picnic blanket rested and slept little, then later still looked at the Park. You come here really super to rest and has also the possibility to watch a lot. On the first lawn great hordes with ducks, in the background heard you can chirp a UHU. Then a pond with very many carp, children's playground, football pitch, mini golf with an opportunity to eat, what of it I would however advise against eating was terrible, many flower landscapes with chairs to put down and at the end or input depending on which side it comes nor a Petting Zoo with pigs, goats at our two still very small ponies and dwarf donkey (which we however not face get to have). We thought € 2.50 for a park what go but here is the worth at the beginning still, really totally. Watch it :)!

  • The Duke Ried Park is beautiful and offers almost everything you would expect from a park: venue, lakes, lawns, flower gardens, a sports - and a basketball court. as well as the possibility to rent a barbecue. In addition you can go swimming in the adjacent swimming pool.

  • Nice garden with cool seasonal activities
  • Large, well-maintained, and lovely, but a bit noisy and crowded due to its location in the city center.
  • Fun and great events like the medieval market ( medieval fair ). The entrance fee is not expensive, and you'll get animals, nice gardens, a stage (when there is a musical event), a nice pond with many birds. Love it. And you'll get a place for making sport, sprints and more, if you like to train in that great environment. So, you'll get something for your money. At least some nice hours on a sunny day to relax a bit. Not so crowded usually.
  • One of the best parks in the city: zoo with animals, green space for picnic & relaxing, numerous recreational spaces for kids, grill spots( reservation needed), huge space to do all kinds of sports, minigolf, cafés, a small pond and so much more. A must in the summer!!
  • Great Park for kids
