  • It is a smaller, but very informative exhibition on the meaning and history of the salt city Lüneburg. The Museum is located at the site of the old factories of the Lüneburg Saltworks. Worth a visit!

  • Small but interesting, this museum lets you discover more of Lüneburg, precious salt mine. The descriptions are all in German and, sometimes, in English, but you can ask in case if there is a guide in other languages (for Italians it's for example). The ticket allows you to make even the water tower and another small museum that mimics a House 50 years

  • Maybe the Museum is worth a stop if you are very interested in rock salt and everything associated with it-production, processing, trade. Salt-what was in the ancient town of long and what was was famous. Souvenir from the city, which is in all souvenir "benches"-also a bag of salt.

  • Since the visit to the Museum, I can better connect the town of Lüneburg with salt production. Very neatly done. We were lucky to be able to use an audio guide. Which is recommended in any case!

  • Class. Very fond of children made and while the leadership knows every time something else about the white gold

  • We were there the night of the Museum! It was super nice! A lady in the guise of historical has explained a lot to me and could tell me much about the cuts! Super interesting and totally sweet! It has made me huge fun! And the 50s Museum next door is really very nice! A journey into the past! Great!

  • A visit in Lüneburg absolutely must include, among other things. Salt Museum. Hunger and thirst made easy, with ca. 400 pubs Lüneburg after Madrid has the highest concentration of pubs. Perhaps hang it together with the many university students.
