  • Last Thursday to have been together with my wife Salzmuseum. It fell against us. A lot of texts to the wall with the accompanying pictures. Large blocks with salt with the text where it comes from. Two hands full of dioramas and then we have a much discussed. Everything, after our opinion, way too dark. You have to pay 1 euro extra to be allowed to photograph. But then you have enough light. My German is excellent, but to all those little text to go read tickets was to us not paid. Here was a better interaction better in place. We found this museum to be static and it does not recommend another quickly, to visit it.

  • Very good history of Lüneburg have made interesting, informative, entertaining,. You should book the salt Museum with a visit to the water tower together. There is also a free exhibition on 50 years.

  • Gives an insight into what it was like to work with salt and what salt is. The price is 8 eur + 1 eur if you need to take pictures, so that's a little expensive. Everything stands in German, so important you take an audio guide if you don't understand German. The museum itself is not so big, so takes Max. 1 hour to view.

  • Since the visit to the Museum, I can better connect the town of Lüneburg with salt production. Very neatly done. We were lucky to be able to use an audio guide. Which is recommended in any case!

  • We were there the night of the Museum! It was super nice! A lady in the guise of historical has explained a lot to me and could tell me much about the cuts! Super interesting and totally sweet! It has made me huge fun! And the 50s Museum next door is really very nice! A journey into the past! Great!

  • A visit in Lüneburg absolutely must include, among other things. Salt Museum. Hunger and thirst made easy, with ca. 400 pubs Lüneburg after Madrid has the highest concentration of pubs. Perhaps hang it together with the many university students.
