  • Schloss Ludwigsburg has a large outer beauty. Inside though beautiful, is in need of a major renovation. Is not careful, which is regrettable.

  • ...Aber a boring tour. Luckily, she was not expensive – our guide approached us with "Dear Guest" in every sentence and shooing us rather than that they would have shown us something ("one step faster...").

  • The palace is like any other palace, although the stories are interesting. Try to go there in spring/summer because the garden is impressive and you will spend the whole day enjoying the flowers and t...  more »

  • The palace is nice but the gardens are the best. Young or old(er) will find something here. I find it really good that you can pay your entry tickets with card.
  • Amazing architecture and beautiful building. Well maintained. Slightly expensive to get a tour.
  • It's a really nice looking palace. But in my opinion it is not much different than any other palace. So that's the point where you need to take your time and get to know more about this place. Therefore I'd recommend taking a tour to find out more about its history.
  • You must visit this place. Ludwigsburg residential palace and it's gardens is a whole day experience. It has a huge part of the garden redecoraded like a fairytale for kids and adults to enjoy. Everything is green and beautiful. I was not in the palace this time but the trip was excellent. I think the best way to visit the palace inside is to take a guide. Anyway, the gardens are full of history and storyes about royal families and their lives. You will not be hungry or thirsty, there are plenty restaurants and caffe shops for everybody to enjoy, but be sure to take the bottle of water with you. This place doesn't look as big as it is. All in all, this is a place you must see with your own eyes!
  • Way to expensive... 8,50€ per person... Really? Beautiful but no thanks...
