  • Here, my wife and I have made shooting our wedding pictures. The castle is really pompous and inspiring. The various facilities offered great variety. At the end of the day, we were very happy with our result. Also a thank you to Ludwigsburg.

  • The castle is beautiful and recommended, the leadership has honestly but everything messed up. At the beginning was the large group said that we have no time and hurry. This set is like then at least every 5 minutes. You want to enjoy the experience but also something and are not on a witch hunt. The Group was pointed out to ask if it was implemented but time quietly, was answered very close... but the sentence "we have no time" fell back fortunately. Due to the size of the Group and some smaller rooms was also always already with tell started before they were all in the same room. Even though you had no chance faster to go due to the many people... The castle is really recommended, but be must either more time scheduled or reduces the number of persons for the group management. In the Potsdam area there will be also a few leadership in a few castles, perhaps you could take as an example of it.

  • This palace is a beaut. The architecture, art, design and construction are awesome. They have preserved it very well and maintained well too. You can have the palace tour in desired language by an electronic guide. But it's little on the pricey side. However the gardens of the palace are entirely another thing. The view of the palace from the garden is pure satisfaction to the eyes. Have a walk through the small street on the right side of the palace with the trees on the either sides, the beauty of nature binds you. Summer and autumn are the best seasons to visit😊👍
  • Very pretty palace, the tour was very informative and they have one of the oldest working theaters. A little over priced for my taste and that the gardens were not included with the fees was a little disappointing, but the fairy tale garden was amazing. It is perfect for children, but also if you’re just feeling a little childish as well. Lots of interactions, and the kids really enjoyed it. The gardens were gorgeous and definitely somewhere you could spend hours.
  • An awesome architectural complex! !!a mix of baroque, rococo & neoclassical styles. The palace, the apartments of duke Carl Eugen, the ceramics museum. .. Everything is amazing! !! This Palace with its beautiful gardens are a must to visit in stutgart area.
  • The palace is gorgeous and is really wonderful to see; however, our guided (English language) tour (which I'd read was a very good tour) was a bit of a disappointment. Our guide was an older fellow, who was overtly sexist which was off-putting. In addition, while his English was quite good, he had a distinctive accent and spoke very quietly, which made it very hard to hear him in those big palace rooms. I had never seen a palace like this, so I'm really glad we went, but wish we'd had a different guide. The English tours are only available at certain times (check the website), so plan in advance if you'd like an English tour. Also note that each tour only goes through one wing of the palace, so you'd have to take a second tour to see both wings (we didn't do this).
  • The palace is very beautiful, it has many rooms with original or reconstructed furniture and items. It also has beautiful gardens with a pumpkin exhibition in season. But we didn't walk through the gardens or the pumpkin exhibition because we had little time and it was a bit expensive. The palace can be visited only with a tour guide (sometimes available only in German, but the guide was very kind and friendly and added some info in English also). Each side of the squared palace is a separate tour and costed us 7 euro per person (we did only 1 side). The gardens costs another 9 euro. In summary I thought the place is beautiful and very well maintained, but a bit expensive and you should check in advance the times of the tours...
