  • This church is not one of the old ones in Lubeck. What makes the visit worthwhile is the memorial exhibition dedicated the the Four Lubecker Martyrs - opponents to NAZI regime.
  • In some the Luebeck city church-hopping shitaya oars and was gone also used church a glimpse I thought,. Anyway very, very simple.

  • Each individual church, Museum, glimpse, not least the friendly inhabitants of the beautiful Lubeck deserve a review to five stars. I'll just write something about this beautiful Catholic Church, as it was the first thing I experienced after I arrived. During my trip to Germany I arrived in Lübeck on the afternoon of January 6, so I decided to attend the evening mass of the Epiphany. The Church is beautiful in its simplicity, contemporary with the stained glass Windows decorated with red roses and resolutions that encourage quiet contemplation. There is an interesting area dedicated to the martyrs of Lübeck, four Catholic priests who paid with their lives opposing the Nazi regime and a beautiful underground chapel. The thing I enjoyed most during the religious service were hymns. The sound of the organ and especially the faithful, not exalted a chorus of professionals, but the simple faithful who sang the songs with angelic voices. Moreover, in Germany there is a very strong musical tradition, people are educated to music and singing as a child, something that in our beautiful country, which previously dictated law in artistic and musical field, not cool. And Lübeck in particular is a city of music, there are many music shops and schools teaching this discipline, including the Musikhochschule, which every night, even in midwinter, allows anyone to attend rehearsals for students, as well as offering real concerts, most free. But I digress ... From this church started my discovery of Lübeck, a city that I remained in the heart, and could not start in a better way.
