  • The Lübeck Christmas market is definitely a classic and a must for visitors to the city during the Christmas season. Not without reason he not infrequently is the "main reason" to visit the city during the Christmas season. The Christmas market is spread across several locations. You will find the main market in ´ marketplace before the Town Hall and the famous St. Mary's Church. The lighting on the basis of fairy lights provides a unique atmosphere and an unforgettable stay. The offer is huge and no limits when try and costs of specialities from both Germany and Scandinavia for example to visitors. So everyone in the family will find something. Even if the prices of course often ask for a not very small purse :-)

  • The Lübeck Christmas market is always back beautiful to look at and experience. Unfortunately it is not possible sick people celiac disease, except for chips (only French fries in the Fryer) and maybe a gluten free sausage anything can be eaten there, what's totally bad. In southern of Germany the physician a lot more offered. Also that the allergen cards not inherently visible. Otherwise always worth a visit on the historic market just behind the Town Hall. The Christmas lights directly on the market square can be a great sentiment on mulled wine, and trolls trunk when the Finns.

  • As a so-called Christmas market tourists, we have seen many Christmas markets. We found the vastness of the Christmas markets, what was quite negatively assessed by other Rezensionisten, very nice. Now if you are not coming from Lübeck, one has the opportunity to look at the beautiful old town. That prices not quite as cheap classified is a fact which is the case on every major Christmas market but unfortunately. As one of the most beautiful in Germany he is a journey worth. Probably find most German visitors but their own Christmas market beautiful. So it went at least us as Oldenburg. What however is not to be understood as criticism. Lübeck and the markets are definitely a trip worth. We believe however, that you not really must wonder, as written by others, that the Christmas markets are crowded on the weekends.
