  • In the Museum, there are 3 floors. On the ground floor a chronicle of the family, which is really interesting, if also somewhat Drög made. On the 1st floor, there are changing exhibitions. When we were there, there was the theme of "The Manns and the exile" and the exhibition was confusing and disappointing uninteresting. On the third floor, a replica waiting room of the Buddenbrookroman 2. You can take a copy of the Buddenbrooks here on loan and read some text, which play in the House. In addition to regular Museum tours, the Museum offers also a literary walk through the city. For buying a card, so at the same time get admission to the Museum. Our guide was very engaged and has shown us so some corners of Lübeck which is not known from the travel guide and that have to do with the man. In the flight flew by really great and the 1, 5 h. Was I actually more interesting than the Museum.

  • Anyone who has read the Buddenbrooks, must visit the House! Many interesting and teaching oak information about the life and work of Thomas Mann. In the shop you will find many books and writing utensils in addition. In addition, it is centrally located in the city, so no detours are necessary.
