  • I had the pleasure to visit the Castle on a sunny day. The place is magic. You can feel the history in these walls. If you have the time, pay the 2.50 € and visit the upper part of the Castle. There y...  more »
  • This is a semi ruined castle. Its definitely worth a trip and especially if you have kids. They can climb up into the old castle and there is a great view from the top.  more »

  • We like this castle ruin because it's close to home! But it is also well cared for, and has a little museum with a number of artifacts. From the castle turret - on a clear day - you can also catch a glimpse of the Alps. The view from the castle, even without the Alps, is beautiful. There's also a small restaurant so you can have a Kaffee, or an ice cream on a hot day.
  • Nice place to spend your time there, taling photos. At the bott of the castle, there is a little pub where you can have a beer or a sausage. Like!
  • Interesting ruins just off the autobahn.
  • Beautiful Castle with amazing views from the two towers. A small fee to enter and a very cheap beer garden and cafe. Excellent for a small day trip on bike or public transport from Basel followed by a small uphill walk.
  • Traditional regional food, great for walking around with kids
