Hübscher kleiner Tierpark. Der Bayerwald-Tierpark wurde uns von unserem Hotel empfohlen. Für einen kleinen Ausflug - vor allem mit Kindern - durchaus geeignet.Pretty small animal park. The Bayerwald animal park was recommended to us by our hotel. Quite suitable for a little trip - especially with children -.show original
Die Tiere sollen laut Werbung in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung gehalten werden! Der Wegeplan sah weitläufig aus - weshalb wir uns diesen mal anschauen wollten und dachten, man wäre Stunden unterwegs. Die... read more »The animals are to be kept according to the advertising in their natural habitat! The roadmap looked widely – which is why we wanted to look at us this and thought you would go hours. The reality was pure disenchantment. There, some Zoo is far more animal-friendly. There are far too small enclosure, where wolves, lynxes, etc. have no withdrawal options and be stared at by noisy visitors for hours. The animals show unique behavior errors. Each enclosure with power is protected - against breaking out the animals from this inadequate and boring prison. The birds and fish are kept so that they are always visible. The owls can not even a few wing beats flying - what a zoo. -Welfare is here not thought of main thing ringing cash. - I can only recommend to avoid until the operator finally promise the animals humanely so a park! keep also comply. That was a very sad experience for us.show original
Der Tierpark ist schön groß. Zumindest groß genug für die Tiere. Diese scheinen sich dort wohl zu fühlen und das ist das wichtigste. They seem to feel there comfortable and that is the most important. Also had a few small animals were to be seen, so properly diversified. Equal in coming, the raccoon has just stretched his house against his sweet Po from and moving a millimeter. So what of sugar are animals! We saw also a baby Wildcat and two Lynx babies. The Wolfe lay in the Sun and have also visibly enjoyed it! All in all a pretty successful day. And the ticket price is definitely not too high!show original
In general a hike up a hill with not alot to see. At least in March many animals were not outside and in general there was little else. The playground for kids was ok. The larger animals are clearly in enclosures too small (e.g. the Lynx) and exhibit disturbing behaviour that made you wonder why you had brought your kids to see trapped animals in a zoo.Probably only a significant attraction as there is so little else to do with small kids in the Bayerische Wald.
Anonymous MC Toastington YoloGreat Zoo, possibility for snack. Each age suitable for children. Great playground... Dresses for the change do not forget... Water gamesshow original
Steffen UhligBeautiful zoo with sufficient biodiversity from the Region.Tolles example that should look like animal husbandry. Lots of young, ranging from rabbits, about the goats, foxes and to Lynx and Wolf.Ein really nice Zoo, where can children not to be neglected, but in each enclosure to discover new play on the playgrounds.show original

Lisa EgingerSigns and enclosures have come in the years, many areas are ignored. Most go are much too small and some animals that live in the community, are locked up alone. The Wildcats have even stressful noise levels through the adjoining door that slams noisily by careless visitors or children to their small cage. The Beaver building located in an accessible House and the animal can hide thus from screaming children groups, etc.. Many animals immediately hitting the fence, even wolves and foxes show no fear of humans. You are obviously constantly fed by visitors, which is virtually never discouraged by notes. Many animals behave accordingly disturbed, starting with the friendliness and behaviors associate with ending at Hospitalism. The visit to the plant was for us no joy, but simply sad. Here, animals are presented at crook to lots of money. The cheaper or free alternatives (such as animal open grounds in Neuschönau or at the Haus Zur Wildnis) are expressly recommended - that affects the system, the life of animals, as well as the presentation of information.show original
