  • Here, the generations can experience how people here lived about 80 years ago in the Bergisches Land. Compared to today's a huge difference. To secure this and the arduous work to the diet is clearly good.

  • A nice little open-air museum with character. Featured historical details of the mountainous agriculture and industry are to visit. The freshly baked bread is a delicacy. The staff are very nice, the visit was worth.

  • It was beautiful in the open-air museum. For children a place they do not know. Old houses and utensils with animals. More often, even Broit there is baked. Super tasty.

  • We were with two young children here today. All ways are just fine to drive on with the stroller. There are building from various fields. Houses, farms, barns and various small-scale buildings. All the buildings are accessible and their original time according to. Craft editable even at certain times. There are many animals and a lot of the information that are new and interesting even for people who grew up in the Bergischen. All employees who have met were very friendly and kind to us as well as to the children.

  • Always worth a visit, for the whole family, there are days of action (but there should be early!), courses... Really well done and entertaining

  • Here one learns something about the past and rural life in the upper mountain without which it will be boring. A museum to the join and feel. And for adults and children.

  • Today on the 27.08.16 we visited the farmers market at the open air museum. Great! Many stalls with various, mostly small-scale, craft articles. It was nice that there no cheap junk levels were found. Everything suitable to the given part of a Freilichmuseums.
