  • Patchy variable content in a great building. All the staircases have displays so if you stick to one you might miss something interesting.  more »
  • An exceptionally well curated Museum; the combination of works of different epochs in a room or with training and looking through into the next room is remarkable and unusual. This concept is fully and makes one of the most interesting that I have visited the Museum. There may be more valuable and more famous exhibits museums, but this fact is more than offset by his hugely successful architecture (an open house) and the experience that it offers the visitors due to the abwechslunsreichen hanging and placement. Tip: the trompe-l'oeil-Malerei let at the ceiling of the Café is - best on one of the chairs.

  • The centrally located Museum is from the outside a simple cube, but in many exhibition rooms and an open interior with interesting perspectives extending over several floors. Particularly impressive Markus Lüpertz's extensive collection, as well as also verscchiedene works of the Leipziger neo surrealists smoke. Absolutely recommended for surprisingly low entrance fee of € 5.
