  • The building itself is a beauty. Huge rooms, clear responsibilities and formal language, past the entrance through a Lilliputanertür is very original to an installation with a beating heart to the showrooms. During our visit, sculptures by Lüpertz in contrast to Klinger was a real highlight. We also liked that there were many German artists, romantic and modern, that are not so well known. We found very successful and refreshing the mix between old and new. A museum should not be missed!

  • Germany, of course, with Italy, Flanders and Spain, France paintings. In the elevator on the 3rd floor and start taking pictures with women wardens come and here is prohibited. If you pay the charge by the says. Once again return to the reception €3 permits to receive the pay, put ago it. We found no pennies that have taken on other people. The final version of the Isle of the dead Böcklin 4 work is here and. (The other is Basel Museum in Switzerland, Berlin National Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of art). Collection reaches about 100 works of the Leipzig-born Max Klinger painting and sculpture, plaster figure of 35, 300 sketches and prints the world's largest, and Klinger for taking half of the second floor. Caspar David Friedrich's "life of stage" there is "island of Rügen chalk cliffs". Painting cow meadow Hodler was rare.

  • ...trinken in the accompanying Café definitely cocoa! Which is really disgusting... The Museum is great, the building is stunning and both enormously impressive, the current exhibition is a must! But Leipzig seems overall to no cocoa. Where I previewed it, I get a warm, sweet, reminiscent of cocoa allerbestenfalls, jiffy, with some stuff in there that you could flip so directly in the sink. How the food at the Café is white I'm probably not, not to find out.

  • The single employee with whom one can speak are the security and sadly believe people who get to upset about everything again and again, the security would determine what happens in the House. Be nice to the guards ^^
