  • The visit of this Sickinger Castle is the crowning glory of a hike at Landstuhl. Unfortunately, the L2 13 km long circular trail was very poorly signposted. Attendance at the Buschenschenke was also a flop.

  • The food is okay. Well suited for children. Nicely done indoor outdoor space for children. Great views and very large and beautiful beer garden.

  • This is an iconic place to see if you're visiting Landstuhl, the castle is beautiful as well as the view from the top. There's also a nice restaurant up there with a good food and drinks selection. They only take cash,so unless you'd like a hike down to the town, make sure you have some on you.
  • Great view of Landstuhl, can eve see the air Base from the top. Easy to get into, not extremely easy to find (you have to go through a neighborhood), and a bit small but still very cool.
  • Who does't love a castle ruin. The restaurant served us some of the best food we've had in Germany yet.
  • Very quiet. Easy to just tour the grounds on your own. Small fee to go inside. Small café on site.
  • Amazing views with a great little cafe to get eats or ice cream. Bring Cash!
